Firefighter S&C: Ceiling Pulls

Ceiling Pulls are a functional movement replicating a crucial on the job tasks for firefighters. While the tool used on the job to break apart ceilings is light, in training we use an olympic bar to build the strength required to actually penetrate the dry wall or drop ceiling in a structure. Watch the video to hear Antonio’s explanation and tips for this exercise.

Even if you are not a first responder this is a great exercise to throw in the mix to build shoulder endurance and core strength.

I recommend starting with 10 seconds per side and working up to 30 and 30.
